FFWPU Historian Mike Mickler short sided review of Sanctuary growth

I guess historians are like armchair quarterbacks in that they write about things that happened in the past. Sadly, Mike's article is really one dimensional and superficial. As a religious scholar, his view is based on religions and churches and he looks at TF as a religious figure and not the Messiah. And he looks at TF's development of establishing God's Kingdom on Earth (or CIG) as building a church and not the Lord of the Second Advent restoring the world to its original position.
Of course, Hyung Jin Nim only started Sanctuary Church less than one year ago. So I guess compared to the mainstream church, it looks pretty dismal or like a splinter organization. However, if you were to truly look at the growth and the development it has experienced in the last 11 months, one would be amazed at its rate of growth. And considering that most members worldwide are just learning about what TM's is saying and doing, I'm sure that the rate of growth will rapidly expand.
And HgJN, like his father are not interested in building a "church". He has taken his responsibility as the heir of TF seriously and is setting out to build CIG, or the Kingdom of God on Earth. I'll be curious what Mike writes about in 3 years, and then in 10 years. But still, I'm sure it will not take many things into consideration and will still probably be one dimensional.

Petitioning FFWPU & PeaceTV

We need to see and have available all unedited video of TF during the last 3 years of his life. As Central Blessed Families, we need access to seeing and hearing What True Father said in terms of guidance for us as we work towards building CIG.

Hyung Jin Nim is the seed of the Royal Family

"In the course of history, numerous religious founders, saints, and sages have appeared; however, they have had no relationship with true love at all. To solve all this, Jesus came to the earth as the Messiah to make the foundation of the bridegroom and bride. Then what must the Messiah do when he comes?
He must establish a new realm of a royal family moving toward the new family, new tribe, new nation, and new world. He must create the realm of the royal family.
Who is the direct ancestor of the royal family? He is the one, who as a child of God’s direct lineage with original, unfallen love has centered him- self upon true love and upon the foundation of true life and true lineage.
He is the seed. If a root comes from that seed, it will be the central root. If a stem appears, it will become the central stem and eventually grow to become the central trunk. To the extent that it grows vertically, it will proportionally grow horizontally out into the world. This will join together the families and the tribes, and also the peoples, the nations, and the world". (263-194, 1994.10.4)

From where does ones power and authority come from?

As we know, TF became the Messiah and Lord of the Second Advent when he accepted his mission from Jesus. His authority is based upon being the object partner to Jesus and God. As such, TF always spoke of Jesus and God. By being the absolute object of God, TF could be our absolute subject.
TF established True Parents when he took a bride and she became True Mother. Her position and authority to be TM is based on her absolute unity with TF. While TF was alive, for the most part, TM was obedient to TF and was successful in her mission. But what about after TF ascended? As eternal beings, TM is to be the eternal object partner to her eternal subject. We are spiritual beings having a human experience, so even though TF ascended to the SW, he remains as TM subject and TM is still his object partner. When a subject and object are united and reciprocate in perfect harmony, they will then have equal value. So TM's power and authority only comes from being in a united and reciprocal relationship with TF, revolving in a perfect orbit with her subject partner.
Is this what we see? Is TM revolving around TF in perfect harmony? Does TM speak of TF like TF spoke of Jesus or God? Does TM refer to TF as the OBS when she mentions herself as the OBD? Does she say, the entire history has been waiting for the OBS AND the OBD who together come as True Parents? If the Messiah is True Parents together, then why is TM not mentioning her subject partner?
Let's look at Hyung Jin Nim and Yeonah Nim. Where did they receive their authority and position? TF selected them and crowned and anointed them as the representative couple to represent True Parents as the second King and Queen. Did they select themselves? Did they conduct the 3 crowning ceremonies by themselves? TF with TM as True Parents passed on their full authority to them. Prior to this, TF appointed HgJN as the International President of the worldwide movement. And TF appointed KJN over all businesses and with their unity, TF declared that they had restored the historical restoration of Cain and Abel, which became the basis for HgJN to be given the authority to lead the next generation to preserve TF linage as required by heaven for the realm of the royal families.
When HgJN speaks of his authority, he does so by referring to the one who gave him that authority. As the object partner to his subject, HgJN's power and authority comes from being in a reciprocal relationship with TF.
When we recall DP lectures, to illustrate reciprocal relationships, we drew circles with arrows coming from the subject to the object and then from the object to the subject showing that the subject and object were united in harmony.
When the object disunites with their subject, we illustrate this by putting an "X" over the arrow going between the object and the subject showing that the object is no longer in harmony and is not in a reciprocal relationship with their subject. The relationship between the subject and the object is cut off and is no longer reciprocal or in harmony.
We saw this happen when H1 disunited with TF, took over UCI and TWG, and then never spoke to TF again. The arrow from the object to the subject was cut off, and there was no longer a reciprocal relationship (caused by the objects disunity with the subject). When we study the situation of H1, we see the classic four fallen natures, failure to unite with Gods direction, leaving the given position, reversal of dominion, and then multiplying wrongful actions.
Looking again at TM, while TF was alive, she was in the object partner position to her ultimate subject and the arrows reciprocated between the two circles. After TF ascended, what happened? TM began making significant changes. She conducted a ceremony where she stood by herself as the new ruler over the universe. Was this done in a reciprocal relationship with TF? And this was done not too long after TF ascended.
She then began making many other changes such as changing the name of Heavenly Father to Heavenly Parents, changing the blessing vows, the family pledge, the CSG (which TF said to not touch), proclaiming herself as the Messiah and Only Begotten Daughter whom all Christianity has been waiting for (all without reference to the only begotten son or True Father)!
When we look at TM as the object partner of her subject, do we see a reciprocal relationship with the arrows from the subject to the object and then from the object to the subject? Or do we see that the arrow from the object to the subject with a big "X" cutting it off?
Everything that TF said about TM is said with the consideration that TM is in perfect harmony with TF. When you consider that TM is not in perfect harmony with TF, then everything TF said about TM becomes null and void. TM has left her position, and cut off from her subject partner and is NOT in a reciprocal relationship with him.
Unfortunately, once TM cut off from TF, her value as TM has also been cut off, and she lost all authority that she once had as TM and TP.

Is True Mother perfect and infallible?

The most shocking consideration for all members is the possibility of TM to fail in her mission, especially after being by TF side for 50 plus years. The consideration for some is pure blasphemy! For most, it is unfathomable and incomprehensible! Not even a possibility. Could never happen!!!
Well, why are we discussing this possibility? Why has it even entered the realm of even a remote possibility? Isn't it because of what we have seen TM do after TF ascended, in making substantial changes to TF works (especially things that TF said don't touch!)?
Quite honestly, even HgJN and KJN were shocked with disbelief when this happened. Totally unexpected. It seems only TF knew or saw of this possibility and looking back to when he asked leaders if they were going to follow him or TM, and having leaders stand and pledge to follow him and not TM. Who knew? TF knew!
So, is TM fallible? Yes. Is TF fallible? Yes. Is HgJN or KJN fallible? Yes. Everyone is without exception fallible. And when I say fallible I mean subject to making a mistake in the eyes of heaven.
Abraham didn't complete the offering and birds of prey attacked it causing him to have to offer his son Issac instead. But because of his faith, and Issac's faith, the offering could be completed and accepted. The providence was delayed but finally fulfilled through Jacob which he united with Esau. Abraham's victory came through 3 generations of faith and fulfillment to Gods will.
We know that Gods will is a battle against Lucifer, the fallen Archangel, who has been opposing God since the fall. How many times in Gods providence have we seen failures by key figures at the last minute? Hams failure after the flood, Moses striking the rock within sight of the promised land which precluded him from crossing the river Jordan. Time and again at the last moment there have been failures that have caused a delay or extension of the providence. Throughout TF's life, we have heard, seen, and or experienced the providence being delayed or extended.
Within the True Family, there has been great difficulty because of the immense pressure on them to be the first family of God. Hyo Jin Nim as the eldest son struggled with the pressures of the world and was not able to become the heir (he was faithful to TF and in the end, TF could profess that he was a loyal son). Hyun Jin was groomed and prepped to be the heir yet he could not overcome Cain and Abel unity among other things, and could not become the heir (were there forces working against him? No doubt, but on his own, he did not have the fortitude to overcome these obstacles and be obedient and faithful to TF and he was then passed over).
Hyung Jin Nim, TP youngest son, who is pure and faithful (and TF said he named "Hyung" meaning elder, in case the TF had to be restored (said at Belvedere the day after his blessing) was chosen as TF heir and was crowned and given TF and TP full authority as the representatives of TP for the next generation, and TF even selected his 3rd son to be the 3rd King.
TF spoke of the need for a Mother/Son act to complete the restoration. Was not TM suppose to support her son in his responsibility as the heir? Some might say that the son must support the mother, but when in Gods history was it ever that case? Wasn't it always the responsibility of the mother to support the son? Like Mary was suppose to support Jesus, but she failed to do so.
Brothers and Sisters, as painful as it is, we have to recognize and face the serious possibility that TM unfortunately failed in her responsibility to be absolutely obedient to TF as unfallen Eve in the GofE, to not be tempted by power and knowledge to be like God (as Lucifer had promised Eve), and to deny herself and support her son in his mission as the 2nd King.
If restoration was easy, it would have been done long ago.

Last Days or Last Daze?

When I joined more than 40 years ago, I was truly amazed to study the Principle and discover a hidden history in the bible, and then discover how Heavenly Father has been working since the end of the New Testament right up through modern times to prepare for the Messiah, the Lord of the Second Advent, to come and finish the work of Jesus. And to think that before I heard and understood DP, all of that was going on without my knowledge (or most everyone else as well)! And as we walked with Father in his life and lived part of this amazing history, that is truly unbelievable.
Now, we didn't always understand what was going on until TF explained it to us often after the fact. We would do a project like Yankee Stadium and then after TF would explain its significance. After quite a number of experiences I trusted TF that everything he did had significance even if I didn't understand it at the moment. So if I didn't understand what was happening at the moment during any given event or tour, I was eager to hear about it when TF explained it.
I attended and traveled with TP's on many significant events and speech tours, so I usually listened to each speech for each event multiple times in cities all over the world (world tours, 50-12-24-18-and on and on City tours) and I often wondered how the audience would receive the message, which was typically about Gods Providence explained in great detail, even explaining that TF was the returning Christ, the Messiah, the Lord of the Second Advent. I thought how is it possible for these folks to listen and read the speech, and then go home that night and return to their ordinary lives the next day as if nothing happened?!
And often big name ministers (paid quite well) get up and praise and glorify TF but never fully come on board. And how about the thousands of people who attended DP lectures and never joined? I thought to myself, these people are sleeping, they are in a daze, they hear but they don't hear! How is that possible?
And now that TF has ascended and things are playing out as they are, I see so many members tuned out. They are asleep at the wheel. Their eyes are open but they don't see! Many have now become mainstream Unificationists. They go to church but are not paying attention to what's going on with Gods providence (just like so many Christians acted when we joined 40 years ago).
I often wonder how it was possible for the followers of Moses to lose faith, after seeing so many miracles. And what percentage of them made it to the promised land over the Jordan River? I think we are seeing a significant parallel now in our own movement. Members have become mainstream followers and basically worship on Sunday's forgetting that Gods Providence continues every day. And that there are timetables and key players who have a significant responsibility to do a specific task in Gods providence. And if they don't, it's a failure, no matter how faithful they were for so many years.
Look at Moses, striking the rock twice, and he couldn't go into the promised land. TF said he had to learn from all the failures in history to not make the same mistake. That always concerned me too.
So for some, we are in the last days and we doing everything in our power to be aligned with God and his providence.
And for far to many, they are living in the last "DAZE" as they are fast asleep and unaware or uncaring as to what's going on with the final providence. Very sorry to see many members live 40-60 years and miss out the final providence.
Hopefully some will wake up from their daze and jump on board. I believe that there is great significance to the quote, "better to be hot or cold in the last days than lukewarm". Those that are awake and engaged have a better chance to be on the right side at the final bell.
TF once spoke of a hypothetical tug of war that was a brutal battle and at the last possible moment, your side pulls to victory. And when you look at those that were on the rope, you see that there were some members who had left and they had jumped on the rope at the last minute. Father asked, what will you say? Will you say, OMG, thank you so much because if it wasn't for you, we would have lost! Or will you say, what are you doing here?!?! You left, you don't deserve to be here! What will be your attitude?!
Personally, I hope everyone makes it. I don't care who is on the rope when we win the last battle and I don't care when they get on the rope. The important thing is to be in the game and not on the side lines watching.
So as we continue into the last days, let's help wake up those that are in the last daze.
