What Does This Mean for You?

Coronation for the New Authority of the Liberation of God
"On three occasions, once on January 15 and twice on January 31, we held the historic Coronation for the New Authority of the Liberation of God, the King of Kings, and our golden anniversary celebration. January 31 saw one such ceremony held at the Cheon Jeong Peace Palace in Korea, representing the East, and another held in New York City, in the United States, representing the West. In this way, we set the record of offering this historically unprecedented and never-to-be-repeated providential event to Heaven in two different locations on the same day. "
True Father
July 4, 2009
The coronation of HgJN's couple is named by True Father as "Coronation for the New Authority of the Liberation of God".
New Authority!
What do you think that means?

Kicked off FFWPU site for this?

I guess this is too controversial? I was kicked off of the FFWPU site for posting this and the following debate that ensued:
Who is the Savior and Messiah?
Beloved leaders from around the world, there is one person, the first and probably the last to hold such a position in history, who holds the keys to free humankind from Satan’s bondage and to lead them to heaven.
That person is the one standing before you today.
I never wished for nor sought this position, but I was anointed by God and placed in the position of the Savior, Messiah, returning Lord and the True Parent of humankind.
It is a position that is absolutely free from the influence of Satan’s realm.
It is indeed I, Reverend Moon, who have been charged by God with practicing and demonstrating first hand a life based on the truth and on submission to the conscience.
The path of a true parent, true teacher and true owner I am walking will allow the people of the world, who are going six and a half billion separate ways, to be reconnected to God at a ninety-degree angle.

The Mission of the True Parents was successful and is intact!

I shared this earlier but was asked to repost it.
There are some that question that if TM failed, does that mean TF also failed, and the answer is a resounding NO! The mission of the True Parents was completely accomplished and was successful.
Let me explain: True Father came as the returning Christ, the returning Messiah, the Lord of the Second Advent, and took a bride to become True Parents. TF along with his bride successfully walked a course of restoration and accomplished what needed to be accomplished and then passed on their full authority and blessing to TF's heir, who will carry the providence forward as official representatives of True Parents. When TF ascended, that left TM by herself just as TM only, and the designated couple of HgJN and YAN now move forward together as the representative couple. TM is now essentially like the queen mother. As TM alone, she is basically retired.
So the success and position of True Parents is intact and has shifted to the heirs couple as representatives. TM does not represent TP by herself.
Let me repeat that, TM does not represent TP by herself.
The position of True Parents is spiritual and has been passed on to HgJN's couple. The providence has shifted to them. It is unfortunate that TM did not want to let go and has tried to hold on to the position that has been already passed on (by her when TP together anointed the heir).
The failure of TM to not let go of her position is actually post succession. The success of True Parents position is intact as it was already passed on to the next generation to HgJN's couple. To be clear, there will only be one True Parents, and HgJN's couple are "representatives" standing in the position as representative couple.
Regarding the claim that TM is the new messiah, she cannot be the messiah by herself. TF was the returning messiah who took a wife and became True Parents together, but that doesn't make TM a messiah by herself.
From CSG: You have no idea how much I have invested for the sake of the world. How much blood and how many tears do you think I have shed? How much sweat? And how much do you think I have sighed deeply? I did not do this in order to eat well or obtain worldly success, but so that I could liberate the earthly world, heavenly world, and God. There has never been someone like this in all of history – only myself. There has been no one except the True Parents. This is not just a concept, but is my personal background.(1990.12.27).
Notice the emphasis TF made on himself.
TF was the messiah and he himself with his bride were the True Parents. Don't confuse the fact that TF was the returning lord and somehow his bride is somehow now the messiah by herself.
Once again, the success of the True Parents position is intact and has been passed on to the heir. So TF was absolutely successful and whatever TM does now does not diminish the success that was completed and offered to heaven. What she is doing now will only affect herself.

Response to Nikolaus

I am not an official spokesperson for HgJN or SC (I'm just a supporter, and a friend of HgJN) but have decided to answer the questions you recently demanded answers for.
First, it is true that for years you have been writing and writing and writing, and you have made some good observations over the years as to some of the flaws of our movement or certain leaders, but at the same time, you are not always right in your point of view (which is just that, your point of view).
Because you write so much you are also subject to your own judgements (judge not lest be judged). While you might like to believe that your point of view is totally correct and aligned with God and TF, I have a mixed opinion about your opinions, and I don't believe that see everything correctly, according to the DP, TF, or HF.
You base a lot of your observations from TF words, so quite honestly, who can measure up right now to TF standards?! You? Even the attitude you have with demanding answers to your questions, is this the attitude of true love? Have you accomplished the contents of the family pledge? Are you a divine son of God? Are you perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect? (No judgement, just questions).
Let me delve into your questions. First of all, I'm not sure who elected you sheriff and what makes you the supreme being that must be obeyed? Why do you feel that everyone has to answer to you? Nikolaus, you write obsessively and I don't think there is a person alive who could keep up with you or read everything you write. There isn't enough time in a day and quite honestly, I'd rather read CSG. The best part of your emails over the years is that you usually highlight what TF said in blue, so I could skim over all the blah blah blah's and everything else and then read quotes from TF.
Anyway, let me answer some of your questions (and I'm sure you won't like some of my answers, I'll put that right up front):
N. FFWPU and Sanctuary leaders unwilling to answer questions
My dear brothers and sisters,
If you have read my recent reflections you know that I have been challenging members who are supporting Sanctuary Church to deal with fundamental errors in Hyung Jin Nim’s concepts and to help him to answer basic questions but so far my efforts have been in vain in respect to receiving a serious response.
A. Let's start right here, you are judging TF's son, whom TF picked as his heir, and you already know better than him! Really?!? Well, so glad that you have taken your time to correct his "fundamental errors in his concepts". I think your fundamental error is expecting HgJN to be perfect and identical to his Father, and he is not the father but the son, and he's young and still growing.
N. It turns out that both FFWPU and Sanctuary supporters are unwilling to offer clear answer concerning issues of new theologies which have been developed in recent years.
A. Nikolaus, as stated earlier, there's a lot going on at SC and there is no one designated to answer everything you ask (I'm sure my response will be dissected and sub-sected and will generate even more discussion and questions from you.
N. I would like to ask the Sanctuary leaders to answer the following questions:
(1) Hyung Jin Nim knew already at the time of Father’s ascension that True Mother is not united with her husband – the first meeting to prepare the new version of Cheon Seong Gyeong took place already while Father was still alive on August 23, 2012. This fact became all the more clear in the months that followed. Why did he not speak out as international president and inform the worldwide membership at that time about what is going on in the Palace? As our main representative he had the responsibility to let us know what is actually happening.
A. Here is my take on this, you Nikolaus, have no idea of the situation he in at this time. His father, the LSA had just ascended, and suddenly his mother, the True Mother, unexpectedly and most shockingly began changing everything TF had done. Behind the scenes, as he has shared, HgJN was begging TM to not make any changes, and in public, he was trying to be upbeat and encourage members who had also just lost TF. That's a lot to deal with and I believe he did the best he could do all things considering. It's a bit judgements for you to think he could have done better.
(2) Why did he himself participate in the Foundation Day Blessing, drinking the holy wine offered at that time while knowing that it is invalid? Doing so brought him like everybody else under the dominion of the fallen archangel, as it is confirmed by Richard Panzer’s announcement: “True Father did not create the ‘Foundation Day’ holy wine. It was fake and therefore everybody receiving it did not become one with True Parents, but with the false parent, Satan...” In this way also Hyung Jin Nim had become one with Satan. How did he escape from that dominion so that he can now liberate others through the Blessing he is offering?
A. I don't believe that he knew absolutely at that precise time that TM had deviated so much that he could reject participating in the ceremony, as he was trying to be an absolute object. After he was fired and had time to reflect, he then realized that is was clearly wrong, and by the authority given to him by TF, he had to correct the situation.
Nikolaus, you are like an armchair commentator who is analyzing an MMA fight months after it is over asking about every move a fighter did or didn't do, and you have never been inside an octagon fighting. Let me be blunt, you have no idea, none, none whatsoever what it is like to be in HgJN's shoes, and to question him (with judgement in your heart) as you are, you should be ashamed of yourself for such arrogance.
(3) Why does Hyung Jin Nim contradict himself without offering any explanation to clarify what is true? For example, he wrote on February 24, 2013 “We all crossed the finish line of the marathon we ran with True Father! I pray that many blessings may be upon you and your families as we all embark on ‘post-foundation-day’ life!” At that time he clearly recognized the validity of the Foundation Day Blessing having brought us beyond the finish line to the goal. And now he says that the Foundation Day Blessing is invalid, that the holy wine offered at that time was fake, etc. Are we to believe what Hyung Jin Nim wrote to all members in 2013 or what he is saying now concerning Foundation Day?
A. See answer for number 2. It took some time for him to sort it out. He has explained that in the past. Of course he didn't do as good as job as you would have done, but thankfully he sorted it all out now, and is correcting the errors that TM made. Nikolaus, the providence moves over time and is not instantly done. There is room for error and there is a time period. TM had a time period to do the right thing and there has to be an allowance for people to do the right thing or not. It's called freedom. HgJN was begging TM to not do what she did and it was her responsibility to do the right thing, not HgJN. Don't hold him accountable for TM's errors.
(4) Jesus said in Matthew 15:11, “What goes into someone's mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” How then is it possible that drinking the holy wine on Foundation Day defiled Blessed couples so that they came to stand in a position outside of the lineage established by True Father? Why does Hyung Jin Nim contradict such fundamental statements of Jesus by claiming that drinking a fake holy wine brought everybody under the dominion of Satan as their parent?
A. The error of the ceremony is similar to couples who made a mistake during the 3 day ceremony and had to participate in a forgiveness ceremony to correct the mistake (my assessment). It's more the fact that blessed central families by participating in a ceremony done incorrectly and out of order by TM, inadvertently aligned themselves under TM and not TF and TP (remember, TM does NOT represent TP by herself). So it is not so much the drinking of the holy wine that needs to be redone, it is the actual ceremony and the focus on TF and TP (now represented by HgJN and YAN as authorized by TF (and TP) when TF was still on earth.
(5) Hyung Jin Nim claims that all Blessed couples need to return to Father’s authority through participating in his Blessing. What does it mean to be under Father’s authority? Unless this question is clearly explained for everyone to understand it is irrelevant to speak about returning to Father’s authority. Why does Hyung Jin Nim not offer logical explanations concerning such fundamental points?
A. TF bequeathed his full authority to HgJN's couple, to be representatives of TP after he ascends, as TM does not represent TP alone. TF crowned (yes, 3 times) HgJN's couple to stand in place of TP as the 2nd King, and he already selected HgJN's third soon to be the third King, as required by heaven to substantiate his linage on earth. This is the bloodline of his authority passed on to make heirs. HgJN is the one (like it or not) who has the authority of TF, so to be aligned with TF and be under his authority, it is necessary to participate
In the correct blessing. Had TM offered the blessing with HgJN standing in TF position, then everyone would continued to be under TF authority. Because TM conducted the blessing ceremony by herself, without a representative of TF (HgJN), then the blessing put everyone under TM authority (and she has separated herself from TF).
(6) On which foundation does Hyung Jin Nim have the right to state, “After that date, First Generation couples will still be able to return to True Father's authority, but only on the condition that they perform the 40-separation and 3-day ceremony following the Blessing.”? Such claims are definitely invalid according to the points I have outlined in the previous paragraphs. This applies also to the request that blessed children need to receive the Holy Marriage Blessing for Returning to True Father's Authority by February 13, 2016.
A. His statement is based on his authority given to him by TF making it VALID! Sorry that HgJN has not lined up under you and subject to your reasonings, but he is the one carrying out the will of TF and heaven.
(7) Why does Hyung Jin Nim set himself up as the one who decides whether Blessed children are considered to be Second Generation by stating that those in this category who were Blessed by True Mother on Foundation Day or later lose their status unless they attend his Blessing by February 13, 2016 because afterwards they can only attend one of his Blessings as First Generation couple? Who gave him the right to remove the status of being a Second Generation from blessed children if they do not fulfil the conditions he has set up to define who is in that position and who isn’t?
A. TF gave him his full authority and blessing to carry on his mission, to build CIG (like it or not). His direction is critical that everyone who participated in the blessing given by TM which was wrong and separated everyone from TF, participate in the blessing by TF rightful representative, and come back under TF authority. It's a tough situation but it has to be done. Period.
(8) Why has Hyung Jin Nim been ignoring the structure which Father has set up with National Messiahs directly under him? They have been addressed for many years in the second position after the continental directors and before national leaders in every official mail from the Korean Headquarters. Why did Hyung Jin Nim not address them for help when he saw the corruption in the Palace? He never reached out to them until today, ignoring like the FFWPU top leadership the central importance of National Messiahship. How can such behaviour which shows that Hyung Jin Nim does not unite with the foundation True Father has established be justified?
A. Sorry Nikolaus, but HgJN has been a bit busy trying to rebuild the foundation left by him by TF which was taken away from him by TM when she unexpectedly separated from TF (quite honestly, no one expected this except TM. Did you Nikolaus?! How could you not expect this and why weren't you prepared?! Why didn't you warn us, you knucklehead!!!!
(9) Hyung Jin Nim says he waited for years before he broke his silence because the members would not understand. Why did he not at least try to speak to the around 120 mainly Western National Messiahs who shared with one another in the NM-list group (only for National Messiahs) about serious problems and issues in our Movement? In this way he would exclusively address National Messiahs who each has his or her own personal experiences with Korean leaders. At that time he was the international president. Whom did he represent? Brothers and sisters around the world. Who were their highest representatives under the continental presidents? National Messiahs. So why does he not respect the structure which True Father himself has set up?
A. Sorry Nikolaus, he didn't have everything all thought out like you. It took him a little longer than you would have to sort it all out and take the position TF had given him. Sorry if he didn't do things as you would have done but he is sorting it all out now. Better late than not at all.
(10) Why is Hyung Jin Nim not true to his own words? In one of his sermons in Korea in the early years of his public ministry he emphasized the importance of a leader having also people among his close supporters who disagree with him because otherwise the leader would lose sight of reality. Why does Hyung Jin Nim not respond when his contradictory theology is being challenged? I was told that he is reading my reflections and appreciates them, but he never responded to my critique of his concepts, which I also offered through close supporters around him.
A. Sorry Nikolaus, but it's called growth. Even TF lamented from time to time that he wished he had done something different. And OMG, he hasn't taken time to answer your questions (which email of the hundreds that you write a month?!?!)? Do you think he has time to sit around and ponder the great wisdom of Sir Nikolaus, and explain why or why he didn't live up to YOUR expectations? I think that he is a little more focused on considering what he needs to do according to TF and HF expectations than answering you thousand questions and criticisms. Honestly Nikolaus, you can be a royal pain in the ass sometimes, no offense.
(11) Hyung Jin Nim emphasizes that he is in a special position as Father’s representative based on the Korean term Daeshinja. Athttps://vimeo.com/150473261 you can hear Father say to all members, “You have received the right of succession as representatives of Heaven.” Father uses the word Daeshinja, which means that not only Hyung Jin Nim but we all are Heaven’s representatives and even represent God as Father explained on January 2, 1992 about our position: “I am a total representative of God.’ That is the true way of human rights. That is where true human value and dignity come from.” Should not therefore Hyung Jin Nim be humble in front of his fellow Unificationists who are just as well Father’s representatives and allow their voice also to be heard in his church at the time of giving sermons?
A. In all reality, how can any of us measure up to TF? I believe that HgJN, TF son is the best man for the job and he will do well. Considering the situation he was placed in by TM after TF ascended, he's doing a pretty good job (sorry he doesn't meet your expectations) but I think TF and God can be pretty happy. Humble? He is amazingly humble. Too bad you couldn't spend time with him camping and just sitting around after service, and you'd know what I mean. And hey, yeah is was a bit angry when he realized that TM had committed such an egregious error. Yeah he was pissed. Righteous indignation. Times ten. But I do believe he is sorting it all out and will do just fine.
(12) Why does Hyung Jin Nim not act as a filial and loyal Daeshinja who has inherited his father’s heart? True Father said about himself: “Even if I were to begin my life all over again, the only thing I would leave behind me is the term ‘True Love.’” (August 11, 2011) That means Father only wanted to leave the term True Love behind at the time of his ascension, the True Love teaching which he has been advocating to the extent that this term appears on average on every page of his speeches which were translated into English whereas these centrally important words can hardly be found in Hyung Jin Nim’s sermons. Why does Hyung Jin Nim not share in depth about the True Love Principle which his Father has been emphasizing so much?
A. True Love has depth beyond your capability to reason or understand and it's not always sweet and flowery. Sometimes it's tough. Again Nikolaus, you are questioning why HgJN is not like TF! Right now!!! Give him some time, and he will soon measure up to your expectations and more. I've had to privilege to have been around him since he was born, and have known him over the years, and have been around him more over the last 3 years and considering the weight on his shoulders, he is doing an incredible job handling the pressures and expectations of TF and Heaven (let alone the expectations of Nikolaus the Great)!
(13) At the beginning of his public ministry Hyung Jin Nim spoke a lot about transparency and accountability. Why does he not apply his own teaching to himself? He points to the fact that Father has crowned him as his successor, but Hyung Jin Nim is not prepared to lead a completely public life like his Father. He is not really accessible for brothers and sisters around the world whom he has been representing as international president of our Movement. Even when a couple of hundred Second Generation members signed an invitation letter for him to come to Europe at the time of True Mother’s visit Hyung Jin Nim did not respond to them with a clear explanation why he declined to accept their invitation.
A. So when TF was alive, he would drop everything and go meet with members who invited him to come just because they asked?! Really? And TF would sit and eat lunch with members after service having open discussions? Nikolaus, once again, sorry that HgJN doesn't conform to your expectations. I can tell you this, that HgJN has spent hours and hours sitting around after service with anyone who comes, for the past 3 years. Come to PA and experience it for yourself. These have been some of the best experiences that members have had, not just with members of the True Family (KJN is most often there too), but with the son and heir of TF. Many members who don't agree have come and spent time with HgJN.
You said your questions are just a starting point and I'm sure you will have a thousand more. I don't think I will have time to answer them all, but try to digest my answers before you tear me apart and I fall under your condemnation (all done with true love of course).
Nikolaus, you are a good brother and I believe you mean well, but maybe you should spend some time reflecting and some quiet time, to listen to God, and to stop talking for a time. Lighten up, you're a bit too tense. Everything isn't accomplished overnight.
The pledge says to SEEK the original homeland, and to build the kingdom of God on earth and heaven. It has to be done as it isn't already done and it takes time. Don't be so impatient.
Thank God HgJN is young and he has time to grow and measure up to TF and Nikolaus. I have every confidence that he will do just fine. You have to have faith and believe.
Sincerely yours,
Jerry

A word about conspiracy theories.

Some of you have made a big deal that HgJN and KJN, and members of SC believe in conspiracy theories (not to mention names Paul Carlson orDan Fefferman) to not mention a few, so I thought I'd address the topic.
As Unificationists, you study the Divine Principle, which you believe is the completed testament.
Let's start with the Fall. You believe that God created mankind (Adam and then put him asleep and took one of his ribs and made a female, Eve?! Wow, that sounds pretty bizarre! Really?! And then an Archangel, Lucifer, tempted Eve with an apple (or a tomato), wait! They had intercourse? They had sex? An Angel and Eve fucked? Holy shit! And you believe this shit? Holy Fuck, you fuckers are fucked in the head! You actually believe that an angel fucked Eve and that's why the world is fucked up?!?! OMG, you guys are whacked!! Talk about conspiracy theories? OMG, how stupid could you be? You believe this shit? You guys are fucked in the head! That's the craziest shit I ever heard of!!!!
Now, you get my drift? What makes you think that your view of life is more sane than ours? You think that because we wonder about some the events that have happened recently, which have many unanswered questions, and consider the possibility that maybe they aren't what they seem, and you can judge us and call us "Truthers" and conspiracy theorists and paint us as bad, because your view is more sane? Really?
Maybe you're a cultist who believes some wacky shit and should have your head examined.

Answer to Paul Carlson list of concerns

(Editor's Note: The following post is Jerry Heying's response to 27 concerns listed by Paul Carlson.  Jerry is not an official spokesman for the Sanctuary Church or Hyung Jin Nim, however has provided an excellent reply to someone who is very negative towards the Sanctuary movement.  A special thank you to Jerry for putting in the time and effort for this post. - Kyle)
The List of Concerns:
1. Continuing, vile and lurid, public accusations against his {Hyung Jin's} own mom? Encouraging dozens of other people to launch new and harsher ways to condemn her? (How many religious figures, or secular VIPs, spend so much time and energy condemning their own mother? Despite several public requests, SC members have not found even one comparison. One rare example was the book and movie Mommie Dearest, which came out in the 1990s, long after Joan Crawford's death.)
A. It is true that HgJN has been harsh towards his own mother (harsh is a polite word). I too, don't like it one bit. However, when you look at it from HgJN's perspective, what he believes TM has done, and is doing, is totally destroying the entire foundation that TF prepared for the future, and is leading the entire movement away from TF. She left her objective position and took the subject position and has changed just about everything that TF established as sacred. Considering that HgJN was entrusted with the position of the heir, he's a little miffed that his own mother is destroying everything that was provided to him as the heir by True Father.
Regarding "religions attacking another religion", well, HgJN has no interest to start a "new" religion. What he is doing is carrying on the work of his father, who happened to be the Messiah and Lord of the second advent. Not your ordinary "religion".
2. Extensively quoting the Bible, however, introducing starkly new and unfamiliar interpretations? (Including the use of Biblical prophecies such as "the AntiChrist" and "the Whore of Babylon" to describe his actual mother; terms which every educated Christian knows refer to two different entities, one an individual man and the other symbolizing a nation.)
A. The bible is the foundation for the principle (OT, NT, CT). The Whore of Babylon reference comes from Revelation 17 which depicts a vision of a woman who does not morn the loss of her husband and was dressed in a purple robe and had something in her hand (sorry, I forgot), which sadly resembles how TM looked when she took a stance wearing a purple robe with a staff in her hand standing like an Emporeress proudly defiant. Rev 17 is about the last days and it sure seems like TM is not morning the loss of her husband and is taking a position of power which is not hers to take.
3. Photoshopping his mother {Hak Ja Han, titled True Mother} out of historical and providential photos? (When many genuine copies are extant, guaranteeing quick exposure.)
A. Because TM has left her position, she lost her place of honor.
4. Strident concerns about two specific collections of Rev. SM Moon's sermons and quotations (one older and one newer version), and claiming that one such collection is paramount above all others, to the point of its going out-of-print having (allegedly) caused utter providential ruin? (When all of those precious words remain fully available as sermon volumes, and all are continually honored worldwide, while the SC is allowing that one collection to remain hard-to-find, by refusing to publish their own edition.)
A. TF specifically said don't change the CSG. He poured over it again and again and said don't touch it. TM changed it. The first part of Eve's fall was disobeying the commandment given by God. TF clearly said he was from the God of Night, and TM from the God of Day. He gave TM a command and it was her responsibility to obey his command. Not only did she not follow his command, she was defiant about it. So it's not about what you think is the inconsequential changes, it's the total disobedience to a command given to her by her husband who represented God, and she unfallen Eve standing in the garden. It's the fall all over (the original fall was disobedience to the command which then manifested through an act).
5. Condemning hundreds of wonderful new Blessed couples to a fallen hell, claiming their holy weddings were invalid? (Thus crudely alienating the movement's best young people, and for trivial reasons.)
A. Unfortunately, because TM left her position as the object partner of TF (eventually the 4 fallen natures), and then held several Blessings alone, and used only one pledge instead of the original 4 established by TF, this invalidates the Blessings as genuine (they were not sanctioned). Not a trivial matter. If TM left her position and is out of order, then whatever she does is out of order. God is a little particular how things are done (sorry if that bothers you'll have to take that up with him).
6. Objecting strenuously to taking True Father {Rev. Moon} off life support, hinting in turns that he was deliberately killed, or at least, should have been kept alive until Foundation Day? (When that big day was more than 5 months away, and the man had suffered multiple organ failures. Also, miracles of revival often take place after the artificial machinery is disconnected.)
A. Yes, the two sons objected to taking TF off life support (primarily to counter Hyo Nam Kim who was pushing TM to pull the plug on TF. HgJN has video of TF at that time and TF was alive with eyes open-not comatose. Both HgJN and KJN position was that if you pull the plug, you are killing the LSA. After they requested a vote from the elders, HgJN, KJN, and Bo Hi Pak all said no and TM backed off. There position was TF should die a natural death and not at the hands of anyone let alone TM or Hyo Nam Kim. I'm not sure where you got the idea of keeping him alive until foundation day-I've never heard that one before.
7. Negating the Age of Women and bringing back an Old Testament patriarchy? (Making vivid statements such as, "Women are 5% and Men are 95%," but with no explanatory details or actual theology.)
A. TF lived in the completed testament age and he pretty much established things centered on males being in the subject position and females in the object position. Yes TF established Women's Federation but that does not put women in charge over men. Yes, if a subject and object reciprocate in perfect harmony, the object can at times be in the subject position, but the order within a family is the husband is the subject.
8. Being completely tricked by secular men who advocate delusional paranoid conspiracy theories? Among a mere handful of nonreligious, special guest speakers, inviting two infamous 9-11 Truthers to speak from his pulpit? (Paul L Williams and Richard Gage, also indirectly Alex Jones and etc., with their outlandish material claims, that require physical evidence, which is wholly absent.)
A. It's incredible to me that Unificationists like you are unable to see how Satan manifests his will here on earth. It would be easy to see Satan if he was like Snidley Whiplash wearing a cape or a devil with horns and you could see everything he does in plain view (and why hasn't the world been able to see Gods history being manifested either?). Both God and Satan who are in a historical battle fighting over man have been working throughout the ages to direct man in their direction, most of it being done without the recognition of ordinary people.
9. Changing his focus and style and declared beliefs, every two years or so, through all of his adult life? (Martial arts, Buddhism, Pentecostal, etc., then turning around and deeming his years in Buddhism to be "a mistake.")
A. It's called growth Paul, and finding ones self. He's grown, he's developed. Yes he got back into the bible and studied Jesus (like that's a problem?). When you read TF speeches especially early ones, he spoke incisively of Jesus. TF came on his foundation. Jesus brought spiritual salvation so TF only needed to complete the physical salvation based on Jesus success of the spiritual salvation (which we all still need as well as forgiveness).
10. Boldly preaching complete falsehoods, about many terrible things the UC/FFWPU is now supposed to be teaching, or forbidding? (When the actual story is revealed, such as about an Eve = Subject chart, or the banning of the "Blessing of Glory" song, apologies are made then retracted by his underlings.)
A. After TM changed the CIG Anthem, if someone sang Blessing of Glory, they were chastised. Same for praying to Heavenly Father. The chart you refer to that someone said was a printing error, is still being used in numerous places. Seems that most of those things are happening in Korea and Japan and haven't filtered there way to USA yet. Be patient, they'll be coming soon.
11. Attracting several vocal Sanctuary Church members who are well-known to have psychiatric problems, or neurotic compulsions, or abusive childhoods; then instead of urging them to get serious help, cheering their anti-UC rants and just egging them on? (While many UC pastors and elders have become licensed counsellors.)
A. Are you talking about me?!?! Behind the scenes there are efforts to help those who appear to need help. How the hell do you know what's being done or not being done? And your comparing a 50 year organization with a one year org?
12. Stepping away from his duties as International President, denouncing the organization he'd been a leader of, and then after losing his official position, "firing" each-and-every UC/FFWPU leader, with no exceptions? (After being tolerantly ignored by everyone, continuing as though he'd been correct.)
A. Stepping away? Uh, Paul, he was fired by TM. Fired. And he went to the wilderness to reflect. After he came to terms with the position TF gave him he took position and did what he had to do. Those who betrayed TF and stood with TM when they had all pledged to TF to follow him and not TM. Yes, he fired them. That is his authority.
13. Saying it was a huge violation to alter the Blessing vows, and to change any tradition once instituted by Father, yet adding full immersion baptism (and etc.) to his ongoing ("optional," but led from the very top) Sanctuary Church rituals? (Also criticizing huge donation requests to Japanese members, which may well be a righteous position, yet those too were instituted by Father.)
A. He conducted some baptisms for those who wanted to participate to have a deeper understanding of the forgiveness of Jesus. Is that a sin? Would TF be pissed? Sorry Paul but I see no harm for him doing this (with the support of Rev Jesse Edwards). Regarding the Japan donations, yes TF initiated it years ago and HgJN discussed it with TF and he approved HgJN and KJN to take the burden off the backs of the Japanese. I'm not aware that TF knew that CP was charging the Japanese 20x what everyone else had to pay. TF scolded Hyo Nam Kim as he told he to set up a place in each continent so members wouldn't have to travel and spend more money.
14. Spending months telling everyone that the Cheongpyeong ancestor liberation process is utterly fraudulent, then (without much detail), declaring that he can do it better, with the same parameters though for less money? (Again, a mixed issue, as Japanese UC members really are asked for huge sums, when everyone else (who wished to participate) donates more affordable amounts.)
A. Because TM said everyone must now liberate 420 levels of ancestors at CP, and because he knows that CP charges so much more to Japanese, he conducted an ancestor liberation (based on the authority granted to him by TF and having conducted numerous liberations at TF's request) with no financial requirement to anyone other than an offering of their own choice. Very gracious.
15. Accepting his closest Sanctuary Church supporter's bold assertions that he and his wife have not, will not, and implicitly can not, mess up or go off course? Also, Hyung Jin proclaiming that he and his wife, and (next) his own male descendants, have become the only full embodiments of the True Parents? (Despite slamming his own sibling's many failures, and previously admitting that he himself is a sinner.)
A. Not sure where you heard he cannot screw up. I've never heard him say that. Regarding saying he is a sinner, from a biblical perspective can anyone say they haven't sinned and don't need forgiveness? Anyone? Paul? Bueller?
16. Preaching about apocalyptic Biblical visions-of-doom such as those of Ezekiel and Revelations, with their infamously harsh (but apparently not symbolic) depictions of immanent widespread destruction? Also, repeating the popular Christian prophecies of Jonathan Cahn and others, which explicitly indicate a living AntiChrist, a literal Rapture, and the incipient Second Coming on the Clouds? (Something very different from the Divine Principle view, and with no explanation of how the SC prophecy differs from Cahn's.)
A. Quite a number of people are projecting great difficulty in the times ahead let alone the times we live in now. From a providential perspective, the world wars were somewhat apocalyptic (especially if the side of evil would have won). Are we not facing the possibility of WWIII? Not sure where you heard about a physical rapture. TF coming back? Why not? Any principle reason he can't?
17. Claiming that the FFWPU symbol (with its stylistic three-generation family) is satanic, with the upraised arms seen as beastly horns; a terrible sign of an accursed movement and leadership? (When nobody, including Hyung Jin himself, had noticed for all these years. Creator artist Pier Angelo Beltrami is not, by any account, a satanist!)
A. I believe that HgJN made reference to the symbol being eerily and seemingly seen as a symbol described in revelations. I don't believe his reference to it was considered satanic.
18. Proclaiming a new Cheon Il Guk constitution, which quotes the entire Bill of Rights in guaranteeing individual liberty, and then continuing with numerous references to Crowns and Kings, which ideologically and historically are anathema to that document? (The official document, as written by Kook Jin and his Freedom Society friends, grants the two brothers by name lifelong absolute irrevocable powers, as combined political and secular rulers, with onlytheir own male descendants inheriting those top offices.)
A. CIG is Korean for the KINGDOM of Heaven on Earth. Kingdom. TF established God as the King of Kings. Kingdom. King. Gods sovereignty is a Kingdom and his authority is granted through a king. Better than a dictatorship but I remember TF once saying a dictatorship of God wouldn't be a bad thing.
The Constitution of the United States of CIG is a unique document, and yes TF linage is granted certain authority. You can chose to not abide by their authority. You can chose to not abide by the authority granted to you by TF as a Central Blessed Family or owner of CIG. If you believe that HgJN is the heir and representative of True Parents, and that HgJN and KJN restored the historical Cain and Abel division, then you probably don't have an issue with their positions that they will assume once a CIG nation is established.
19. A propensity to latch onto popular or fringe scientific theories, and "run with them" to unwarranted or extreme conclusions? Using one such notion to boast and bash, not mentioning how that particular theory was created and popularized by atheist secular humanists? (That is, E.O. Wilson's classic r/K Theory of reproductive strategies, which places all humans into one category. Later on, some Evolutionary Psychologists attempted to expand that into human cultures, politics, even personality types. Hyung Jin doesn't name Wilson, while SC defenders immediately claimed one personality type for themselves, deemed it superior, and utilized this as a put-down.)
A. Not sure that SC members place themselves in a superior personality type, but it is quite interesting to see how the nation is eerily divided into R and K type of behaviors or personality types. I think it's pretty neat.
20. Allowing his SC members to whisper, or to shout, scandalous lurid rumors about long-respected UC leaders, and with zero evidence? Floating specific accusations of child sex abuse, of extramarital affairs by True Mother, and much more? (Coming only from anonymous sources and/or sudden "recollections," when for decades even the strongest opponents of Rev. SM Moon never said those things; against men and women who Father kept at his side for decades.)
A. Most of the references come from known sources such as Hyo Jin Nim, or their personal experience with TF. I believe that TF was aware of probable problems with those leaders that surrounded him but as the messiah, he had to give everyone the chance to repent and change. I believe he knew the possibility that TM could fail but he had to allow her freedom, the same as God had to give Adam and Eve freedom.
21. Announcing that the "Six Marys" rumors are literally true, saying that Father was 100% correct in every such (alleged) activity? Also advising all Unificationist sisters to desire, and to dream of, having literal sex with Father? (With no source given for many otherwise-unknown biographical details. This while pledging to keep his own marriage monogamous.)
A. If you understand the true nature of God is to be intimate with his children, and True Father returned as the physical manifestation of God (of Night), then this is not a bad thought. TF made numerous references to this over the years. Because of our fallen minds, this is not easy to digest. This is something you either believe or don't. If you don't believe that HgJN is aligned with TF, you'll have a hard time believing anything he does or says.
22. An odd relationship with Korean traditions, so that individual freedom and style are verbally emphasized, while simultaneously, a rigorous and ancient decorum is enforced, even beyond the SC's precincts? (Mother is sharply castigated for "sitting in Father's chair," even as Yeon Ah is praised for being a great female preacher.)
A. TM sitting in TF chair is just another sign of her being disrespectful to TF. YAN who is united with her husband is very supportive and respectful to HgJN. Whenever she speaks, it is usually quite deep.
23. Showing a thin skin and dramatic flair, quick to cry "Persecution!" and yet, not showing much of the dignified fortitude that Christian and other saints are known for? (Reacting to a legal note, sent to YouTube, with a blood-red teardrop at the pulpit. Also, SC-Japan leaders comparing their own situation to historical Hidden Christians, like a Japanese version of violating Godwin's Law.)
A. Once again, comparing HgJN to any other Christian minister. Note to Paul, HgJN is TF youngest son and heir to TF linage, and he is being persecuted by the very organization that TF put him in charge of and that he should be leading in stead of TM. Yeah, he is a tad upset.
24. A religion which abjures grace and forgiveness, but instead makes continual, not-so-veiled threats of violence? Hyung Jin warned UC leaders, "I'm coming to get you!" and then (in a later sermon) described his own personal AR15 rifle, and gets praised for that? (SC members have sent warnings of "swift punishment for thoughtlessly sinful Han Group members," including (for example) a Facebook post with a news photo of massacred bodies. Then they'll remind viewers it's just an unofficial outlet, yet that photo was left online and even defended, by a moderator who's also a Sanctuary Church official.)
A. Paul, you sound like a conspiracy theorist. At no time has HgJN referenced killing anyone other than anyone who tries to kill him or break into his house and harm his family.
25. Local SC leaders in Moldova going to that country's police, and denouncing local UC members, causing raids to occur and two brothers to be thrown into prison? While several top SC leaders reacted to this quite differently from each other, and erased various online posts, while each has tried to shift blame onto a handful of (genuinely unpopular and weird) Korean UC leaders over there? On the SC's busy if "unofficial" Facebook page, many SC members cheered that police action, and claimed it was deserved and inevitable? (Unlike the 2009 case of Elizaveta Drenicheva in Kazakhstan, this being an inter-Unificationist squabble makes it much harder for human rights activists to help free those prisoners.)
A. All SC chapters are independently organized and independent. While there may have been some initial cheering by some, HgJN immediately asked that those who went to the police go and drop the charges. HgJN has been troubled by what happened but did not direct it to happen. Why did it happen? Obviously some long time difficulty between those members over there.
26. Claiming, suddenly and with only the assertion itself for backing, that Rev. and Mrs. Moon have spiritually divorced, that the ascended founder has become so disappointed that he has rejected his long-time wife? Telling people that the True Parents, who are the very foundation of Hyung Jin's own life and ministry, are no longer valid, and getting praised for saying so? (A vindictive claim and ugly style, which are the extreme opposite of the hope and love and unity which True Father became most famous for, even befriending his deadly enemy Kim Il Sung.)
A. The unexpected turn of events of TM changing just about everything TF set up, especially things which TF said to not touch or change, and the apparent disregard towards TF from TM, looks to be like a "spiritual divorce". If TM left her object position and took a subject position that is not hers to take, you can say that she has taken a position that she doesn't need TF. She is proclaiming to be the messiah without reference to TF. Seems to me she has clearly separated from TF.
The success of TP is intact as TF passed on the full authority of TP to his heir. TM's deviation is post succession and does not take away from the authority granted to HgJN by TP when he was anointed. It does make it considerably harder as TM has taken away the movement which was prepared by TF for him to use to further the providence and to build CIG.
27. Issuing an official Christmas Day proclamation that mentions, not peace or love or salvation, but a clarion call to "Rise!" and that on a "battleground" of their own singular declaration? (A harsh revolutionary-leftist tone, vastly different from the gracious compassion of the Christ Child known to all Christians, along with the divine glory and sacred repose traditionally celebrated on Christmas.)
A. HgJN gave a sermon the Sunday before Christmas, and I believe his message was a revolutionary RIGHTIST tone (definitely a K type of message and not an R liberal leftist type).
Paul, you obviously do not believe in what HgJN is dealing with. The turn of events that took place around TF going into the hospital and post ascension is quite shocking and unbelievable. Unfathomable to say the least.
If you believe everything TM is doing is ok and within her authority, that certainly is your choice. HgJN, KJN, and many others (growing every week) believe that what TM is doing is seriously wrong.
Well, I answered or commented on each of your various comments. Yeah, some of them suck (you can take that either way-the comment or the answer). It is a painful and sad situation to say the least. Every member should be aware of all the discrepancies and then make their choice. It comes down to a matter of faith and what you believe. I doubt anything I said will change anything you believe but felt I should answer your comments.
God Bless

FFWPU Historian Mike Mickler short sided review of Sanctuary growth

I guess historians are like armchair quarterbacks in that they write about things that happened in the past. Sadly, Mike's article is really one dimensional and superficial. As a religious scholar, his view is based on religions and churches and he looks at TF as a religious figure and not the Messiah. And he looks at TF's development of establishing God's Kingdom on Earth (or CIG) as building a church and not the Lord of the Second Advent restoring the world to its original position.
Of course, Hyung Jin Nim only started Sanctuary Church less than one year ago. So I guess compared to the mainstream church, it looks pretty dismal or like a splinter organization. However, if you were to truly look at the growth and the development it has experienced in the last 11 months, one would be amazed at its rate of growth. And considering that most members worldwide are just learning about what TM's is saying and doing, I'm sure that the rate of growth will rapidly expand.
And HgJN, like his father are not interested in building a "church". He has taken his responsibility as the heir of TF seriously and is setting out to build CIG, or the Kingdom of God on Earth. I'll be curious what Mike writes about in 3 years, and then in 10 years. But still, I'm sure it will not take many things into consideration and will still probably be one dimensional.
By Michael Mickler The Sanctuary Church (SC), with branches in the U.S. and overseas, is best understood as a schismatic movement. Followers of schismatic movements are known as schismatics. A schi...
