I am not an official spokesperson for HgJN or SC (I'm just a supporter, and a friend of HgJN) but have decided to answer the questions you recently demanded answers for.
First, it is true that for years you have been writing and writing and writing, and you have made some good observations over the years as to some of the flaws of our movement or certain leaders, but at the same time, you are not always right in your point of view (which is just that, your point of view).
Because you write so much you are also subject to your own judgements (judge not lest be judged). While you might like to believe that your point of view is totally correct and aligned with God and TF, I have a mixed opinion about your opinions, and I don't believe that see everything correctly, according to the DP, TF, or HF.
You base a lot of your observations from TF words, so quite honestly, who can measure up right now to TF standards?! You? Even the attitude you have with demanding answers to your questions, is this the attitude of true love? Have you accomplished the contents of the family pledge? Are you a divine son of God? Are you perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect? (No judgement, just questions).
Let me delve into your questions. First of all, I'm not sure who elected you sheriff and what makes you the supreme being that must be obeyed? Why do you feel that everyone has to answer to you? Nikolaus, you write obsessively and I don't think there is a person alive who could keep up with you or read everything you write. There isn't enough time in a day and quite honestly, I'd rather read CSG. The best part of your emails over the years is that you usually highlight what TF said in blue, so I could skim over all the blah blah blah's and everything else and then read quotes from TF.
Anyway, let me answer some of your questions (and I'm sure you won't like some of my answers, I'll put that right up front):
N. FFWPU and Sanctuary leaders unwilling to answer questions
My dear brothers and sisters,
If you have read my recent reflections you know that I have been challenging members who are supporting Sanctuary Church to deal with fundamental errors in Hyung Jin Nim’s concepts and to help him to answer basic questions but so far my efforts have been in vain in respect to receiving a serious response.
A. Let's start right here, you are judging TF's son, whom TF picked as his heir, and you already know better than him! Really?!? Well, so glad that you have taken your time to correct his "fundamental errors in his concepts". I think your fundamental error is expecting HgJN to be perfect and identical to his Father, and he is not the father but the son, and he's young and still growing.
N. It turns out that both FFWPU and Sanctuary supporters are unwilling to offer clear answer concerning issues of new theologies which have been developed in recent years.
A. Nikolaus, as stated earlier, there's a lot going on at SC and there is no one designated to answer everything you ask (I'm sure my response will be dissected and sub-sected and will generate even more discussion and questions from you.
N. I would like to ask the Sanctuary leaders to answer the following questions:
(1) Hyung Jin Nim knew already at the time of Father’s ascension that True Mother is not united with her husband – the first meeting to prepare the new version of Cheon Seong Gyeong took place already while Father was still alive on August 23, 2012. This fact became all the more clear in the months that followed. Why did he not speak out as international president and inform the worldwide membership at that time about what is going on in the Palace? As our main representative he had the responsibility to let us know what is actually happening.
A. Here is my take on this, you Nikolaus, have no idea of the situation he in at this time. His father, the LSA had just ascended, and suddenly his mother, the True Mother, unexpectedly and most shockingly began changing everything TF had done. Behind the scenes, as he has shared, HgJN was begging TM to not make any changes, and in public, he was trying to be upbeat and encourage members who had also just lost TF. That's a lot to deal with and I believe he did the best he could do all things considering. It's a bit judgements for you to think he could have done better.
(2) Why did he himself participate in the Foundation Day Blessing, drinking the holy wine offered at that time while knowing that it is invalid? Doing so brought him like everybody else under the dominion of the fallen archangel, as it is confirmed by Richard Panzer’s announcement: “True Father did not create the ‘Foundation Day’ holy wine. It was fake and therefore everybody receiving it did not become one with True Parents, but with the false parent, Satan...” In this way also Hyung Jin Nim had become one with Satan. How did he escape from that dominion so that he can now liberate others through the Blessing he is offering?
A. I don't believe that he knew absolutely at that precise time that TM had deviated so much that he could reject participating in the ceremony, as he was trying to be an absolute object. After he was fired and had time to reflect, he then realized that is was clearly wrong, and by the authority given to him by TF, he had to correct the situation.
Nikolaus, you are like an armchair commentator who is analyzing an MMA fight months after it is over asking about every move a fighter did or didn't do, and you have never been inside an octagon fighting. Let me be blunt, you have no idea, none, none whatsoever what it is like to be in HgJN's shoes, and to question him (with judgement in your heart) as you are, you should be ashamed of yourself for such arrogance.
(3) Why does Hyung Jin Nim contradict himself without offering any explanation to clarify what is true? For example, he wrote on February 24, 2013 “We all crossed the finish line of the marathon we ran with True Father! I pray that many blessings may be upon you and your families as we all embark on ‘post-foundation-day’ life!” At that time he clearly recognized the validity of the Foundation Day Blessing having brought us beyond the finish line to the goal. And now he says that the Foundation Day Blessing is invalid, that the holy wine offered at that time was fake, etc. Are we to believe what Hyung Jin Nim wrote to all members in 2013 or what he is saying now concerning Foundation Day?
A. See answer for number 2. It took some time for him to sort it out. He has explained that in the past. Of course he didn't do as good as job as you would have done, but thankfully he sorted it all out now, and is correcting the errors that TM made. Nikolaus, the providence moves over time and is not instantly done. There is room for error and there is a time period. TM had a time period to do the right thing and there has to be an allowance for people to do the right thing or not. It's called freedom. HgJN was begging TM to not do what she did and it was her responsibility to do the right thing, not HgJN. Don't hold him accountable for TM's errors.
(4) Jesus said in Matthew 15:11, “What goes into someone's mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” How then is it possible that drinking the holy wine on Foundation Day defiled Blessed couples so that they came to stand in a position outside of the lineage established by True Father? Why does Hyung Jin Nim contradict such fundamental statements of Jesus by claiming that drinking a fake holy wine brought everybody under the dominion of Satan as their parent?
A. The error of the ceremony is similar to couples who made a mistake during the 3 day ceremony and had to participate in a forgiveness ceremony to correct the mistake (my assessment). It's more the fact that blessed central families by participating in a ceremony done incorrectly and out of order by TM, inadvertently aligned themselves under TM and not TF and TP (remember, TM does NOT represent TP by herself). So it is not so much the drinking of the holy wine that needs to be redone, it is the actual ceremony and the focus on TF and TP (now represented by HgJN and YAN as authorized by TF (and TP) when TF was still on earth.
(5) Hyung Jin Nim claims that all Blessed couples need to return to Father’s authority through participating in his Blessing. What does it mean to be under Father’s authority? Unless this question is clearly explained for everyone to understand it is irrelevant to speak about returning to Father’s authority. Why does Hyung Jin Nim not offer logical explanations concerning such fundamental points?
A. TF bequeathed his full authority to HgJN's couple, to be representatives of TP after he ascends, as TM does not represent TP alone. TF crowned (yes, 3 times) HgJN's couple to stand in place of TP as the 2nd King, and he already selected HgJN's third soon to be the third King, as required by heaven to substantiate his linage on earth. This is the bloodline of his authority passed on to make heirs. HgJN is the one (like it or not) who has the authority of TF, so to be aligned with TF and be under his authority, it is necessary to participate
In the correct blessing. Had TM offered the blessing with HgJN standing in TF position, then everyone would continued to be under TF authority. Because TM conducted the blessing ceremony by herself, without a representative of TF (HgJN), then the blessing put everyone under TM authority (and she has separated herself from TF).
(6) On which foundation does Hyung Jin Nim have the right to state, “After that date, First Generation couples will still be able to return to True Father's authority, but only on the condition that they perform the 40-separation and 3-day ceremony following the Blessing.”? Such claims are definitely invalid according to the points I have outlined in the previous paragraphs. This applies also to the request that blessed children need to receive the Holy Marriage Blessing for Returning to True Father's Authority by February 13, 2016.
A. His statement is based on his authority given to him by TF making it VALID! Sorry that HgJN has not lined up under you and subject to your reasonings, but he is the one carrying out the will of TF and heaven.
(7) Why does Hyung Jin Nim set himself up as the one who decides whether Blessed children are considered to be Second Generation by stating that those in this category who were Blessed by True Mother on Foundation Day or later lose their status unless they attend his Blessing by February 13, 2016 because afterwards they can only attend one of his Blessings as First Generation couple? Who gave him the right to remove the status of being a Second Generation from blessed children if they do not fulfil the conditions he has set up to define who is in that position and who isn’t?
A. TF gave him his full authority and blessing to carry on his mission, to build CIG (like it or not). His direction is critical that everyone who participated in the blessing given by TM which was wrong and separated everyone from TF, participate in the blessing by TF rightful representative, and come back under TF authority. It's a tough situation but it has to be done. Period.
(8) Why has Hyung Jin Nim been ignoring the structure which Father has set up with National Messiahs directly under him? They have been addressed for many years in the second position after the continental directors and before national leaders in every official mail from the Korean Headquarters. Why did Hyung Jin Nim not address them for help when he saw the corruption in the Palace? He never reached out to them until today, ignoring like the FFWPU top leadership the central importance of National Messiahship. How can such behaviour which shows that Hyung Jin Nim does not unite with the foundation True Father has established be justified?
A. Sorry Nikolaus, but HgJN has been a bit busy trying to rebuild the foundation left by him by TF which was taken away from him by TM when she unexpectedly separated from TF (quite honestly, no one expected this except TM. Did you Nikolaus?! How could you not expect this and why weren't you prepared?! Why didn't you warn us, you knucklehead!!!!
(9) Hyung Jin Nim says he waited for years before he broke his silence because the members would not understand. Why did he not at least try to speak to the around 120 mainly Western National Messiahs who shared with one another in the NM-list group (only for National Messiahs) about serious problems and issues in our Movement? In this way he would exclusively address National Messiahs who each has his or her own personal experiences with Korean leaders. At that time he was the international president. Whom did he represent? Brothers and sisters around the world. Who were their highest representatives under the continental presidents? National Messiahs. So why does he not respect the structure which True Father himself has set up?
A. Sorry Nikolaus, he didn't have everything all thought out like you. It took him a little longer than you would have to sort it all out and take the position TF had given him. Sorry if he didn't do things as you would have done but he is sorting it all out now. Better late than not at all.
(10) Why is Hyung Jin Nim not true to his own words? In one of his sermons in Korea in the early years of his public ministry he emphasized the importance of a leader having also people among his close supporters who disagree with him because otherwise the leader would lose sight of reality. Why does Hyung Jin Nim not respond when his contradictory theology is being challenged? I was told that he is reading my reflections and appreciates them, but he never responded to my critique of his concepts, which I also offered through close supporters around him.
A. Sorry Nikolaus, but it's called growth. Even TF lamented from time to time that he wished he had done something different. And OMG, he hasn't taken time to answer your questions (which email of the hundreds that you write a month?!?!)? Do you think he has time to sit around and ponder the great wisdom of Sir Nikolaus, and explain why or why he didn't live up to YOUR expectations? I think that he is a little more focused on considering what he needs to do according to TF and HF expectations than answering you thousand questions and criticisms. Honestly Nikolaus, you can be a royal pain in the ass sometimes, no offense.
(11) Hyung Jin Nim emphasizes that he is in a special position as Father’s representative based on the Korean term Daeshinja. At
https://vimeo.com/150473261 you can hear Father say to all members, “You have received the right of succession as representatives of Heaven.” Father uses the word Daeshinja, which means that not only Hyung Jin Nim but we all are Heaven’s representatives and even represent God as Father explained on January 2, 1992 about our position: “I am a total representative of God.’ That is the true way of human rights. That is where true human value and dignity come from.” Should not therefore Hyung Jin Nim be humble in front of his fellow Unificationists who are just as well Father’s representatives and allow their voice also to be heard in his church at the time of giving sermons?
A. In all reality, how can any of us measure up to TF? I believe that HgJN, TF son is the best man for the job and he will do well. Considering the situation he was placed in by TM after TF ascended, he's doing a pretty good job (sorry he doesn't meet your expectations) but I think TF and God can be pretty happy. Humble? He is amazingly humble. Too bad you couldn't spend time with him camping and just sitting around after service, and you'd know what I mean. And hey, yeah is was a bit angry when he realized that TM had committed such an egregious error. Yeah he was pissed. Righteous indignation. Times ten. But I do believe he is sorting it all out and will do just fine.
(12) Why does Hyung Jin Nim not act as a filial and loyal Daeshinja who has inherited his father’s heart? True Father said about himself: “Even if I were to begin my life all over again, the only thing I would leave behind me is the term ‘True Love.’” (August 11, 2011) That means Father only wanted to leave the term True Love behind at the time of his ascension, the True Love teaching which he has been advocating to the extent that this term appears on average on every page of his speeches which were translated into English whereas these centrally important words can hardly be found in Hyung Jin Nim’s sermons. Why does Hyung Jin Nim not share in depth about the True Love Principle which his Father has been emphasizing so much?
A. True Love has depth beyond your capability to reason or understand and it's not always sweet and flowery. Sometimes it's tough. Again Nikolaus, you are questioning why HgJN is not like TF! Right now!!! Give him some time, and he will soon measure up to your expectations and more. I've had to privilege to have been around him since he was born, and have known him over the years, and have been around him more over the last 3 years and considering the weight on his shoulders, he is doing an incredible job handling the pressures and expectations of TF and Heaven (let alone the expectations of Nikolaus the Great)!
(13) At the beginning of his public ministry Hyung Jin Nim spoke a lot about transparency and accountability. Why does he not apply his own teaching to himself? He points to the fact that Father has crowned him as his successor, but Hyung Jin Nim is not prepared to lead a completely public life like his Father. He is not really accessible for brothers and sisters around the world whom he has been representing as international president of our Movement. Even when a couple of hundred Second Generation members signed an invitation letter for him to come to Europe at the time of True Mother’s visit Hyung Jin Nim did not respond to them with a clear explanation why he declined to accept their invitation.
A. So when TF was alive, he would drop everything and go meet with members who invited him to come just because they asked?! Really? And TF would sit and eat lunch with members after service having open discussions? Nikolaus, once again, sorry that HgJN doesn't conform to your expectations. I can tell you this, that HgJN has spent hours and hours sitting around after service with anyone who comes, for the past 3 years. Come to PA and experience it for yourself. These have been some of the best experiences that members have had, not just with members of the True Family (KJN is most often there too), but with the son and heir of TF. Many members who don't agree have come and spent time with HgJN.
You said your questions are just a starting point and I'm sure you will have a thousand more. I don't think I will have time to answer them all, but try to digest my answers before you tear me apart and I fall under your condemnation (all done with true love of course).
Nikolaus, you are a good brother and I believe you mean well, but maybe you should spend some time reflecting and some quiet time, to listen to God, and to stop talking for a time. Lighten up, you're a bit too tense. Everything isn't accomplished overnight.
The pledge says to SEEK the original homeland, and to build the kingdom of God on earth and heaven. It has to be done as it isn't already done and it takes time. Don't be so impatient.
Thank God HgJN is young and he has time to grow and measure up to TF and Nikolaus. I have every confidence that he will do just fine. You have to have faith and believe.
